AI ONBOARDING BOT WITH RAG + TEAMS INTEGRATION

OVERVIEW
We created an AI-powered onboarding assistant, integrated into Microsoft Teams, to support new employees during their first weeks at the company. Instead of searching through manuals, intranet pages, or asking colleagues, new hires can instantly chat with the bot and get clear answers.
1. Data Ingestion with RAG
All onboarding materials—security policies, app usage guides, department descriptions, software licenses, parking rules, expense submission process, digital hub guidelines, file archiving rules, and more—were centralized and indexed using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). This ensured accurate, context-based responses.
2. Teams-Based Interaction
Employees interact directly in Microsoft Teams, their daily workspace. The bot answers questions like:

3. Continuous Improvement
The knowledge base can be easily updated whenever onboarding policies or tools change, making the system always current and reliable.
